36th Festival gallery

Our nationally acclaimed artists exhibited more than 220 works of art in the mediums of oil, acrylic, pastel, drawings, and sculptures. The Show was a great success with an event-filled weekend.

The Gallery showed elegantly at the Premier Opening on Friday evening. The drapes were drawn back, the lights came on and the large sliding doors opened to reveal the exquisite art work inside. At the Awards Dinner on Saturday evening, the Judges announced winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in five categories plus the recipient of the Best in Show award.

The Festival was open, with free admission, on Saturday and Sunday. Special events included:

  • Gallery & Trading Post
  • Art Seminar with Lorna Dillon
  • Modeling Clay workshop with Richard Myer
  • Quick Draw competition
  • Auction
  • Raffle Drawing
  • Rotary Ranch Breakfast

The Sunday clay workshop with Richard Myer is always great fun with adults and children alike entering into the action. Speaking of action; if you missed the Sunday Auction, you missed an exciting time. Bidding was brisk and competitive. Steve Orcutt, professional auctioneer, kept a lively pace while still entertaining the crowd.

If you were there, then these pictures will remind you of a fun-filled weekend. Couldn't make it this year? View the pictures and mark your calendar for next year! Thank you to Jerry Salazar for providing the photography.
