‘Living Wild’ – 19th Annual Wildlife and Landscape Art Show

Featuring original wildlife and landscape paintings, sculpture, and photography

The ‘Living Wild’ Wildlife & Landscape Art Show and Sale is an art/cultural/environmental and family-fun event that has been a staple in San Dimas Community for 19 years.

Featured in this show were an impressive 21 artists, photographers and sculptors who specialize in creating artworks that depict wildlife and their habitats. Artists were in attendance to share their original art and prints for sale.

The show – plus many planned activities – were open to the public are Saturday and Sunday, with a Premier Opening on Friday evening. (The Calendar below shows dates and times for specific events.)

Included in this art show are programs for all ages and interests:

Student Art Show: View student art from the Bonita Unified School District, grades K–8, displayed in the lobby of City Hall. Student winners received their ribbons and awards on Sunday.

People’s Choice Award: Visitors to the gallery were asked to select their favorite body of work by an artist and note their selection on a paper ballot. The ballots are sorts and the artist with the most ballots won a ribbon.

Planet Rehab showcase their animals to the public in order to shed light in the plight of the planet and making a difference in protecting and restoring the animal resources. Planet Rehab’s animal sanctuary is home to more than 300 animals. They use the animal sanctuary as a way to allow people to reconnect with nature. Richard Myer’s Play with Clay: Renowned sculptor Richard Myer guides everyone to play in the wonderful world of clay. All ages were welcome – it’s a creative family affair!

San Dimas High School Drama Club: The Drama Club treated us with a performance that is as enjoyable as it is imaginative on Saturday afternoon!

Art Raffle: A selection of art was auctioned off. Each artist was asked to submit an original work. This is a great chance to select works from each artist. Tickets will be sold at the information desk.
